Duties:	Assist members of the technical staff (MTS) in the performance of assigned research, design, and testing activities in RF and digital electronics pertaining to the implementation of digital communication systems. Participate in the circuit design, schematic capture, board layout, verification and documentation. Build and assemble hardware prototypes, and operate standard test equipment including spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes, to support design, research and testing activities above. Maintain software licenses, and procure components and equipment as needed.
Qualifications:	An Associate''s degree with a minimum of 10 years related experience is required;or a Bachelor''s degree with 6 or more years experience in field or related field. Basic understanding of electronic theories with a strong desire to learn is ideal. Candidate must be highly motivated and able to work independently with moderate supervision. Hands-on laboratory experience with working knowledge of general-purpose commercial laboratory test equipment is needed. Prior experience with schematic design and layout tools are preferred. Working knowledge of computer and office applications is desired.
