Estimated annual base pay: $89,500(minimum) - $111,900(midpoint) - $134,300(maximum)

Woodward is hiring a Senior Operations Engineer at our Niles, IL location. This individual will be responsible for driving process improvements while using their mechanical aptitude and hands on approach to support assembly process engineering.

What you will be doing...

  • Process engineering for electronics PCBA's and next level assemblies

  • Day to day support in engineering functions in the Electronics operations value stream

  • Participating and leading continuous improvement and process innovation projects and activities to enhance systems and operations for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost

  • Working with cross functional teams to implement robotics, digital factory and automation systems

  • Supporting multiple customers and suppliers daily

  • Collaborating with engineering, production, supply chain and quality teams on multiple projects, ensuring on time deliverables are met

What we are looking for...

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical/science discipline required

  • 6 or more years of experience in a professional engineering related role OR a combination of experience and an advanced degree required
