Position Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Perform machine setup tasks including calibration and cleaning to initiate production cycles.
- Control and adjust machine settings, ensuring optimal speed and performance.
- Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines with precision.
- Utilize measuring tools to inspect parts accurately.
- Conduct periodic testing of machine operations.
- Address any issues that arise during shifts promptly.
- Identify and rectify machine-related mistakes or flaws in output.
- Maintain comprehensive records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Keep detailed activity logs to track production processes.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as a machine operator; mechanical inclination is advantageous.
- Familiarity with diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Understanding of production procedures and workflows.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations, including the consistent use of protective gear.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Physical stamina and strength to withstand the demands of the role.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
