Optum is looking for a NP or PA to join our Orthopedic Surgery team in Covina, CA. This well-established practice is made up of three physicians and one physician assistant. The team is looking for a NP/PA to primarily assist one of the physicians with total joint replacement. However, there would be opportunity to see other patients in clinic.

Position Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• This position is primarily office based with 1-2 days of OR time on average. This position would involve primarily assisting with total hip and knee replacement but with opportunity to see other patients in clinic
• Clinic is approximately 2.5 days a week and surgery is approximately 2 days a week with a half day allotted to administrative duties. However, the OR schedule may be flexible based on volume of patients

Required Qualifications:

• APRN or PA-C licensure in CA, or ability to obtain prior to employment
• National Nurse Practitioner certification through AANC or AANP or Physician Assistant certification through NCCPA or ability to obtain prior to employment

Preferred Qualification:

• 2+ years of experience in orthopedics

California Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
