As the Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) Director, you will provide leadership and direction for UCLA Health's Behavioral Health Associates in support of primary care patients at UCLA Health. This role oversees the business and patient care support functions for all 15+ BHA clinical and administrative locations whether standalone or embedded within community UCLA Health clinics. With responsibility for 30 FTEs consisting of therapists and support staff as well as administrative management of an additional 10-15 psychiatrists, this role serves in an operational and strategic capacity with goals of excellence in patient care and provider experience for all Behavioral Health Associates sites within UCLA Health's ambulatory footprint. You will work closely with operations, billing, finance, marketing, and HR to enhance operations and improve the overall patient experience and provide leadership for optimizing skills and resources for BHA providers. You will also oversee the administration of the Behavioral Health Network, a referral Network of affliated community-based mental health providers. Additionally, you will work closely with UCLA Health stakeholders on coordination of care and offering additional access points for patients in need. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Overseeing clinical operations * Ensuring compliance, patient satisfaction, patient safety and quality * Monitoring clinic productivity, billing practices, audit requirements, equipment maintenance, and IT services * Overseeing financial performance of the ambulatory and community practice * Developing, executing and implementing strategic plans for expansion, monitoring access to care and patient needs within UCLA Health's geographic footprint to ensure sufficiency of service Duties also include daily operations management over multi-site locations, call center and patient access, financial and budgetary management, care coordination and communication, space management, clinical outcomes, quality and safety reporting, revenue cycle management, policy development and deployment, and all human resources needs. Salary Range: $105,200 - $250,600 Annual
Qualifications

* Master's degree (Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Psychiatry or related field) required. * Five to seven years of healthcare management experience required. * Prior behavioral health clinic management experience highly desired * Clinical leadership, planning and change management skills * Ability to demonstrate a high level of diplomacy in persuading and influencing a wide variety of people at various levels to achieve results * Strong knowledge of industry standards and/or regulatory requirements * Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze all pertinent information/data to make and communicate decisions to meet the unit's current and future needs * Ability to establish a culture of integrity within their unit and with those external to the units * Excellent communication skills both oral and written * Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns, and formulate conclusions * Skill in setting priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities * * Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with providers and staff from various social, cultural and economic backgrounds * Skill and experience in clinic operations management and developing/implementing process change. * Ability to adapt and implement frequently changing procedures
