A CPG company in the Westside is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. In this role, the Financial Analyst will perform a hybrid role of FP&A duties in addition to cost accounting that is related around the product including managing and approving margin targets, analyzing SKUs, inventory and ROI analysis, analyzing and reporting on obsolete inventory, budget versus actuals, and financial reporting. What do you need for this Financial Analyst role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- MUST have 2-4 years of public or public/private accounting experience
- All audit experience with clients in consumer products or manufacturing
- Audit experience and current private industry experience in a CPG or manufacturing company
- Advanced Excel
- Conduct variance analysis to assess performance against budget and forecast
- Prepare financial reports
- Analyze trends, pricing, and performance
- Assess profitability of product lines
- SKU and inventory analysis
- Monitor KPIs
- Evaluate cost structures and identify cost savings
- Margin and trend analysis
- Reports to an easy going Director
