Accounts Receivable Supervisor I

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor I is responsible for the processes and systems related Order Management, Cash Application, Credit processing and AR Collections Support. This position is responsible for the delivery of administrative and operational assistance, designed to promote growth, productivity, and provides team members with the appropriate training and tools to direct and motivate their success.

Essential Functions

  • Establish and monitor AR goals and KPIs including reporting to Sales and Executives
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve processes and efficiencies within the Order Management, Cash applications and Credit processing Team
  • Assigned projects and tasks from Financial Controller and Director of Finance
  • Support Accounts Receivable Manager in daily and monthly tasks
  • Assist and support the Collections team in their daily functions
  • Support the month-end close by providing reports such as AR and brokerage reserve
  • Prepare monthly brokerage and ensure all costs and deductions are passed on to the broker
  • Develop and implement efficient solutions for brokerage reports
  • Collect information and create reports for monthly promotions
  • Approval of fines and fees, or decision to dispute fines
  • Run daily and weekly reports for Collections team
  • Ensure all items related to invoicing in the Oracle interface tables are corrected daily
  • Monitor Agile projects and complete tasks as needed
  • Guide, coach, and help develop skills and knowledge of Team Members
  • Develop and manage relationships with the Sales Team Members, Customer Service Members, Execution Team Member including responding to emails and phone calls
  • Complete all Month end related tasks, including weekly reconciliation
  • Review credit applications and credit evaluations as needed
  • Make effective independent decisions representing day-to-day issues that do not require team discussion, input, or agreement

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 4 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 4 Years - Experience in Position
    • 2 Years - Experience managing people/projects

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 6 Years- Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 6 Years - Experience working in Position
    • 4 Years - Experience managing people/projects

Education

  • Minimum Required:
    • Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related field
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related field

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Salary

$67,649.00 - $87,944.00 / Yearly
