LinQuest has an opportunity for a MILSATCOM Futures Lead to provide long term support to the CGE Futures branch as the MILSATCOM Futures lead. This position requires a Top Secret clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for individuals with systems engineering experience, preferably in a DoD Space-based capability program context. Experience developing satellite, user, and/or ground system segments is highly desired.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • 10+ years of experience with leading a team working on large-scale DoD systems, and performing systems engineering in support of command, control, communications, computers, cyber-defense, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance or reconnaissance missions within a Major Defense Acquisition Program.
  • Knowledge of DoD Science and Technology (S&T) or technology maturation processes that are performed by DoD and national research laboratories
  • Ability to effectively manage staff and client relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of executing DoD Science and Technology (S&T) or similar technology maturation processes that are performed by DoD or national research laboratories
  • Experience with leading a team using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
  • Experience in architecture planning resulting in well-orchestrated, evolutionary improvement of a system or system-of-systems
  • TS/SCI eligibility

Compensation:

  • The salary for this position ranges from approximately $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
