Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Account Assistant
Location: Remote
Classification: Full-Time, Direct Hire

A global personal and commercial insurance broker is currently seeking a Japanese Bilingual Account Assistant. In this role, reporting directly to Account Managers, you will primarily handle day-to-day client communications and renewal preparations for existing personal and business clients. Your responsibilities will include answering coverage questions, solving problems, managing renewals, obtaining quotes from insurance companies, preparing formal proposals, and reviewing policies. The ideal candidate for this position is bilingual in Japanese, proficient in speaking, reading, and writing, and possesses a Property and Casualty License.

Responsibilities:
* Provide assistance to Account Managers as requested.
* Handle account activities such as distribution of certificates of insurance, and new enrollments.
* Check insurance documents for errors, making sure all coverage is stated.
* Prepare and coordinate proposal and presentation materials.
* Communicate with insurance company to request quote and necessary information.
* Ensure accurate billing of premiums associated with requested policy transactions.
* Meet with existing and prospective clients in person or virtually to discuss their current insurance package information.
* Continuously learn and maintain knowledge about insurance products.
* Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
* Fluent in Japanese (speaking/reading/writing)
* Must have Active P&C license.
* Proficiency in MS Office is required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
* Ability to work independently and team environment required.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
