• Serve as a domain authority and critical issue point for storage technologies
• Work with vendors to resolve storage issues
• Connect with customers and the internal team with transparency
• Work across technical teams to address sophisticated infrastructure issues
• Provide enterprise-level operational support for incident, problem, and change activities
• Assess customer environments for performance and design issues and propose resolutions
• Build and maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and Runbooks
• Participate in on-call rotation and coordinate with offshore support
• Planning and performing maintenance activities, upgrades, migration, etc
• Level 3/Level 4 skilled storage engineer to lead the storage space under the Data Center operations tower
• Design and implement a new solution in the storage environment

• At least 8 - 10 years of work experience.
• 5 to 8 years of Storage experience in NetApp, Pure Storage, and SAN Switches
• Must have skills: NetApp, Pure, SAN, NAS, and Brocade switches
• Nice to have: Basic VMware vSphere 5.0, Basic networking skills, NetApp/Pure Certifications, Linux Operating systems, PowerShell, Ansible, or Python Scripting
• Solid understanding of supervising and alerting solutions for proactive issue identification
• Hands-on experience in Storage zoning and SAN port provisioning
• Hands on experience on Storage migration, upgrades, and replications
• Troubleshooting experience with Storage, SAN, NAS Connectivity, and performance issues
• Administration experience in the storage of multi-protocol environments like CIFS and NFS with NetApp
• Experience with disaster recovery and data replication technologies
• Strong knowledge of Storage Architecture who can provide best solutions to the customer

The annual salary for this position is between $43,900 to $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
