Overview

Responsible for driving revenue and maintaining accountability for set goals and objectives within his/her assigned region. Develops a new business sales team by providing leadership, direction, mentorship and training. Guides the team to identify business opportunities and recommends workable solutions that meet the needs of the customer.

Responsibilities
    Develop and execute both short- and long-range sales plans and programs in conjunction with Senior Management and direct reports, to ensure the profitability and growth of the company's offerings
  • Formulate and recommend plans, policies, goals and objectives for the organization's sales activities to expand market share in existing markets and capture new markets.
  • Leads, mentors and motivates sales professionals
  • Evaluate software and business partners to support and improve sales force effectiveness
  • Must demonstrate propensity for developing Account Executives - proof sourced and methodology
  • Understanding of complex pricing and financial models
  • Oversees and participates in the preparation and presentation of professional proposals/service solutions
  • Build, develop and nurture customer and internal relationships, gaining support to win opportunities
  • Maintains high end industry knowledge and networks with appropriate partners to help further the region's sales efforts
  • Develop and recommend pricing strategies
  • Assure that market and competitive intelligence is received and socialized for analysis in a timely fashion to capitalize on current market conditions affecting the company's services
  • Negotiate and finalize new client and renewal contract agreements
  • Effectively manages daily, weekly and monthly sales activity
  • Attain and exceed revenue and profit objectives
  • Communication to senior management of goals, success, strategies and financial performance
  • Perform timely employee performance evaluation as prescribed by corporate guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as requested by the Regional Vice President, Sales
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally and nationally
  • Extensive experience conducting effective prospect client meetings in person and virtually
  • Mental qualifications include ability to perform all responsibilities efficiently and effectively
  • Good organizational skills
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • At least 15 years in sales & at least 7 years in sales management/leadership
  • Experience in an industry offering technology solutions, complex business to business solutions and long sales cycles
  • Track record of success with multi-million dollar, long sales cycle deals
  • Exceeded team revenue and activity targets consistently
  • Knowledge of sales and leadership strategies
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with Teams and/or like video conferencing technologies
  • Ability to handle difficult clients, employees and situations
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage under tight and often unreasonable deadlines
  • Ability to understand visual processes, interpret data and translate into written word
  • Ability to work varied hours
  • Advanced ability to ensure that quality and production standards are met
  • Advanced ability to motivate, coach and train CBPS staff
  • Superior customer service skills, professional attitude and appearance
  • Advanced organizational, administrative, record keeping and time management skills.
