At Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems, the role of the Inside Sales Representative is critical in driving sales while ensuring an exceptional experience for both new and existing customers.

As the Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for executing a strategy that will contribute to profitable sales growth by:

  • Managingthe sales cycle for defined transactionalproducts

  • Increase new business acquisition for assigned sales zones

  • Continuously improve upon and support field sales efficiency

You will be responsible for working with different functional areas in Atlas Copco, including our business development, field sales, and digital marketing teams, among others, to complete these actions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

A. End-to-End sales cycle management for defined transactional products

  • Serve as single point of contact for the customer on all sales activities for transactionalproducts

  • Solution specification, quoting, customer education, technical/general support

  • Transactional products: sockets/bits, balancers, manual wrenches/end fittings, geared front attachments, airline accessories, pneumatic tools, torque arms, spare parts, etc.

  • Utilize existing resources and competence initiatives to build expert-level knowledge of transactionalproducts, enabling effective execution of our strategic partnership sales process

  • Coordinate with the Regional Sales Managers(RSM) as needed for sales activities related to transactional product opportunities that require local involvement, maintaining ownership, accountability and primary point of contact to the customer for the opportunity

  • Pursue transformation of any applicable transactional product opportunities and ensure smooth hand off of opportunity to RSM

  • Use CRM to manage assigned leads, and contacts, track open opportunities and manage account activity as defined by CRM best practices

  • Deploy digital resources (Showpad, Outreach, product presentations, catalogs) as needed to convert leads into opportunities and win orders

B. New business acquisition

  • Conduct prospecting activities targeting both current and potential customers using a data-driven assessment of total available potential

  • Establish account contacts; determine potential, generate, qualify, and foster leads

  • Consult with field sales team to build targets by comparing current status quo vs. total available transformed value

  • In collaboration with our Digital Marketing group and RSM team, be an active participant in the execution of prospecting campaigns designed to generate customer demand

C. Continuously improve upon and support field sales efficiency

  • Support Zone sales efforts of complex products by conducting transactional sales functions

  • Including but not limited to the Quote process prep/entry, pipeline management

To succeed, you will need:

  • Agrowth mindset and a desire to be great

  • 2+ years working in asales organization with demonstrated success growing an established territory, exceeding sales targets

  • Experience with the Challenger Sale would be helpful

  • A technical aptitude

  • A collaborative natureand the desire to work and win as a team

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A working knowledge of:Microsoft Office CRM systems (Salesforce), and prospecting tools (Outreach, Zoominfo, etc.)

  • The ability totravel to customer and internal meetings as needed

  • Domestic and minimal international travel is required
