Director of New Sales US
About the role

SUMMARY:

New Business Development for talent and consulting services. Develops and implements approved strategic business plans to expand new customer acquisition. Responsible for development and conversion of sales pipeline for assigned industry vertical. Leads and directs the facilitation of new RFPs, RFQs, re-bids, MSP Programs, and the negotiation of all contracts. Develops and conducts sales presentations. Works under limited direction.

What you'll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops high level strategic business plan and pipeline for assigned industry vertical
  • Executes and implements marketing and sales programs to drive national account sales growth and profitability
  • Leads development of RFPs, RFQs, RFIs MSP Programs, and re-bids with assigned accounts
  • Develops cross promotional sales opportunities with Adecco's brands - Adecco N.A., Pontoon, etc.
  • Develops partnerships with MSP providers and other channel partners to create inbound leads
  • Develops and conduct sales presentations
  • Leads contract review process, negotiates contracts, and obtains required approvals
  • Partners with Leadership and Marketing to develop thought leadership content for marketing programs
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of technology, economic other trends affecting assigned industry vertical.
  • Attends workshops, seminars and conferences for generating sales; solicits opportunities to speak before professional organizations and business groups.
  • Meets or exceeds monthly activity KPIs
  • Meets or exceeds annualized sales quota target
  • Participates in special projects and performs other related duties as required.
About you

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree required; MBA in Sales and Marketing or the equivalent preferred. Five (5) years of sales experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communications, organizational management, and negotiation skills are required.
  • Ability to develop and implement a structured sales plan and pipeline development
  • Ability to develop, improve and/or streamline processes to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Ability to effectively work with Senior Vice Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, local Executive Directors and local staff members,
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience and common sense.
  • Ability to strategically plan and serve as a catalyst for organizational change, cultivate a shared vision with others, and motivate others to transfer vision into action.
  • Ability to travel on short notice; periodic heavy travel (70%+) is required.
  • Broad knowledge of sales/service requirements and marketing/presentation techniques.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles and practices to strategically align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply local, state and federal employment-related laws, rules and regulations.
  • Skilled in business development.
  • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position includes an incentive program that may include bonus and/or commission.
