Install, repair, inspect, and maintain electrically powered, life safety, public address, intrusion control, etc. systems, devices, equipment, components, etc. serving the MPS District to ensure integrity and the safety of the building occupants. Function as a Project Management Assistant to estimate, plan and oversee projects completed by contractors as required to assure compliance with contract standards, details, specifications and deadlines. Navigate and monitor Computerized Maintenance Management Software system (preferably AssetWORKS) for trade related work orders, various data, budget targets, etc. Operates and maintains equipment related to the trade. Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate: $47.75/hourly (full-time)

THE SELECTION PROCESS: will be job related and will consist of one or more of the following: education and experience evaluation; written, oral or performance tests; or other assessment methods. The Office of Human Resources reserves the right to call only the most qualified candidates to oral and performance examinations. Oral examinations may include written exercises. Selection process component weights will be determined by further analysis of the job.
