Your Role

In this position you will develop the sales channels (dealers and rental companies) for portable air compressor products with the goal of increasing market share and sales volume for these products in the Northwest Region, USA (including Northern California, Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, Idaho, and Wyoming). You will implement actions that result in sales and profitable growth that are aligned with overall company objectives and goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing sales in the Northwest Region of portable air compressorproducts to best cover the market and customer applications.
  • Developing long-term sustainable partnerships with strategic accounts to increase market share and revenue with these accounts.
  • Implementing actions to achieve the objective of becoming a single-source supplier for our portable airequipment and service offerings.
  • Providing detailed and informative reporting on activities for review by management.
  • Collaborating with Product Marketing and Business Development Managers as well as the Regional Vice President to offer strategic programs for business development.
  • Parparing equipment sales proposals and customer activities in the company's SAP CRM system.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and trainings as needed by customers.
  • Introducing new products and features/benefits to customers.
  • Establishing and monitoring pricing levels to be competitive and to meet profitability targets.
  • Providing regular updates on market conditions and competitor activity to assist with new product development and marketing.


To succeed, you will need

A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering and 5 years of industrial sales experience.

This position requires extensive overnight travel (up to 60%) and you will need to maintain a valid driver's license.
