Summary of Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Designer with a strong background in UI/UX to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly websites and portals for our company. This role requires a unique blend of creativity and technical proficiency, along with a deep understanding of web design principles and best practices.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS:

  • **Website and Portal Design**: Design and develop visually appealing and intuitive websites and portals. Ensure that all designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.

  • **UI/UX Best Practices**: Apply best practices in UI/UX to create engaging and efficient user experiences. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma.

  • **User Research and Testing**: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback. Use this data to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.

  • **Collaboration**: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business objectives. Participate in regular team meetings and design reviews.

  • **Brand Consistency**: Ensure that all designs are consistent with the company's brand identity and messaging. Develop and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

  • **Project Management**: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion. Ensure that all designs are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

  • **Continuous Learning**: Stay updated with the latest trends in web design, UI/UX, and related technologies. Continuously seek to improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • One plus year of proven experience in web design with a portfolio showcasing UI/UX skills.
  • Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent.
  • Understanding front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
