Description

Our technicians service and program security burglar alarms, fire alarms, surveillance video, and other products as required. This may include the repair of equipment and wiring of systems and ensuring all work is in accordance with company procedures and relevant building and fire codes.

This position is a regular full-time (40+ hours a week) hourly role. Technicians report to our Bel Air office when they pick up parts and service the area within a 75-mile radius of the (Bel Air/Chatsworth) office in their company vehicle. This position is typically Monday through Friday but requires some weekend availability.

  • Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies
  • Perform extensive programming on alarm and CCTV systems
  • Mount equipment; test existing equipment
  • Demonstrate equipment functions and usage to customers
  • Review work orders and accurately implement products and services
  • Utilize and interpret location maps, blueprints, and schematic drawings

The wage range is 25.00 up to $36.00 (for Senior/licensed technicians) per hour depending on experience, skills, knowledge of panels, and licensing.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3-5 years prior experience as an alarm technician. We will also consider Fire Alarm experience.
  • 5-10 years prior experience as an Alarm Technician for Senior level roles.

Knowledge of DNP, Honeywell and DSC Neo panels are a plus.

  • CA Driver's License
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Alarm Company Employee card (Livescan)
  • Basic knowledge of working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn other software and applications. Salesforce knowledge is helpful.
  • Able to use hand and power tools
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Certified C7 or C10 license is a big plus!
