Under the direction of an Application Manager, the Application Analyst performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications. They design, build, test, and support new applications and modules within their portfolio and/or service line. The Analyst must achieve in-depth knowledge of the software application and operational workflows, as well as understand the policies, procedures and constraints of the clinical or business operation supported by the application. The Analyst works with business owners, vendors, and ISS team members to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests.
Applications Supported: Epic HIM applications including Release of Information, Deficiency Tracking, Identity Management, Confidentiality and Break-the-Glass, and Hospital Coding. Solventum (formally 3M) applications including 360 Encompass and CAC. Also assists with Epic Provider (SER) master file maintenance.
This is a flex-hybrid role which will require you to be onsite at least 5% of time, or as required by operational need. Please note that there are no reimbursements for travel to “home office” location.
Each employee must complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager which will outline arrangement parameters and aids both parties in fully understanding expectations. Arrangements are regularly evaluated, and are subject to termination.
Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is AMOUNT. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between the minimum and $140,000 annually.
• Our ideal candidate will have at least three years of Epic HIM applications experience and demonstrated professional experience working directly with business owners on system enhancements and new implementations.
• Experience supporting Solventum (formally 3M) HIM applications preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with information systems technology, which also includes Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems.
• Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design.
• Bachelor’s Degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
